The School Council is run by Mrs Jackson and made up of representatives from each year group. After creating a campaign speech, voting takes place and then the Council is elected.
The group meet regularly to organise fundraising events and other activities within school.

At out first meeting of the current academic year, the School Council discussed the role of School Council. Each member is collecting ideas of areas that their peers feel need to be looked at this year.

BRITISH VALUES
Yesterday in our school assembly, we recapped British Values. We reminded ourselves what they are and then focussed on Mutual respect and tolerance.
Today, the School Council met to look at Mutual Respect and Tolerance and discussed how we promote this at Hade Edge School. Tomorrow, they will then feed this back to the rest of the school.
